Courses and Entry Requirements

We are proud of our Sixth Form – a vibrant, supportive community where students can thrive both academically and personally. With over 25 different courses to choose from, there is something for every interest, talent, and future pathway.

Our curriculum combines traditional academic A Levels with vocational and creative courses, ensuring that every student can follow a route that suits their aspirations.

“We see these activities as just as important as classroom learning – they build character, independence, and a sense of community.”

Beyond the Classroom

Life in our Sixth Form is about much more than your chosen subjects. Alongside timetabled lessons, students are encouraged to take part in a wide range of opportunities, including:

  • Enrichment and complementary studies
  • Mentoring and academic support
  • University visits and higher education events
  • Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE)
  • World Challenge expeditions
  • Fundraising and leadership opportunities within the Academy

These experiences help students to develop key skills such as teamwork, resilience, compassion, and leadership – preparing them not just for exams, but for life.

“The teachers always go above and beyond to help us. They give extra resources and are always willing to support if you have concerns.”
