At Chiltern Hills Academy, we are committed to giving every student the best possible start in life. A strong careers education helps young people discover their strengths, raise aspirations, and make confident choices about their future.
Our Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme is designed to provide impartial advice, real experiences, and clear pathways so that students are fully prepared for life beyond school.
Our careers programme is shaped by the Gatsby Benchmarks, a national framework that sets the gold standard for careers guidance in schools. These eight benchmarks ensure that every student receives high-quality careers education, including:

The Provider Access Legislation (PAL) — sometimes called the Baker Clause — ensures that all schools give students the chance to hear from a wide range of education and training providers.
